Everything You Need to Know
From applying for grants to donating, we've answered the most common questions below.
Any registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating within Prince William County, Virginia is eligible to apply. Organizations must be in good standing with the IRS and able to demonstrate direct community impact.
Grant awards typically range from $1,000 to $10,000 per organization per cycle. Exceptional proposals addressing critical community needs may be considered for higher amounts at the discretion of the PWCCF grants committee.
The PWC Gives! grant cycle opens annually in the spring. Applications are typically accepted from April through June, with awards announced in August. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when applications open.
We prioritize projects addressing food insecurity, education access, health and wellness, workforce development, and arts & culture within Prince William County. Proposals must clearly articulate measurable community outcomes.
Yes! PWCCF awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in Prince William County. Applications are available through your school's guidance counselor and open each spring semester.
100% of your donation supports programs, grants, and scholarships within Prince William County. PWCCF is committed to minimal administrative overhead to ensure maximum community impact. We are fully transparent with our financials.
